Nattokinase

Dr. Hiroyuki Sumi  researched with Natto, searching for a natural agent that would successfully dissolve thrombus (fibrin) that is associated with cardiac and cerebral infarction. He found that Natto was a potent enzyme for this purpose. Dr. Sumi named the newly discovered enyzme "Nattokinase", which means enzyme in Natto.

Nattokinase helps the body maintain healthy circulation.   It has been a traditional Japanese folk remedy that has been valued as a food for over 1000 years.  Natto is a fermented soy food that contains important enzymes.  Nattokinase is unmatched by any other food derived enzyme for its' circulation-enhancing effects.

Nattokinase promotes all around health for the heart, brain and muscles by helping the body keep blood flowing in a healthy way.  It also increases oxygen supply to all organs, by increasing circulation.  Nattokinase digests dead proteins in the body.  This is its' primary function in battling Peyronie's disease.  Increased circulation is an additional benefit in aiding erection quality and boosting overall cardiovascular health.

Dr. Ralph Holsworth has collaborated with Dr. Hiroyuki Sumi to bring the highest quality Nattokinase available in the United States. If you would like to read more and listen to the interview click here:
Healthquest Radio Show.  Dr. Holsworth has a website with loads of information about the cardiovascular benefits of Nattokinase.

Note: Serrapeptase and Nattokinase should be taken without food between meals, or one hour before eating.  This is important, because the enzyme needs to activate in the lower intestine, so it can be absorbed into the blood stream, where it will perform its primary function.  If it is taken with food, it will absorb the protein in the food and be passed through as waste.

    1. I don't know why Doctors Best Nattokinase is not enteric coated. I will have to contact them and ask that question. I'll get back to you as soon as I have an answer. Thank you for your question, It stumped me. I checked all the manufacturer's information on their website and read the labels on my own bottles, so I'll find out what I can.

    2. The Serrapeptase is enteric coated to be more gentle on the stomach. The Nattokinase does not need to be enteric coated. Hope this helps.

  2. Actually, the enteric coating is for the enzyme to survive the journey through the stomach...

  3. A note: Doctor's Best Nattokinase lists Maltodextrin as the second ingredient. Maltodextrin is best to be avoided always, as it aids in the rapid growth of Candida Ablicans. There are maltodextrin free options online. They cost a bit more for purity and quality. Best to read the label first. Doctor's Best Serrapeptase, L-Carnitine, Real Krill do not contain maltodextrin. Cheers!
